I started Hudson Valley Private Nursing because families deserve a calm, knowledgeable resource during one of the most stressful periods they will face, the days and weeks after a hospital discharge, a surgery, or a serious diagnosis.
After years of working in intensive care, medical-surgical nursing, and clinical education, I saw the same gap repeatedly: patients and families left the hospital with a stack of instructions, a list of follow-up appointments, and very little time with anyone who could sit with them, answer their questions clearly, and help them understand what comes next.
That is what I offer through HVPN, individualized nursing care and education that is specific to your family, your situation, and your questions.
My values
- Preparation: Families who understand the plan are better equipped to carry it out
- Clarity: Plain language, honest answers, and realistic expectations
- Dignity: Every person deserves respect, patience, and unhurried attention
- Communication: Clear information flows between patients, families, and treating providers
- Family confidence: The goal of every engagement is a family that feels more capable, not more dependent
